About us
We are Bowen’s voice for local business.
We are Bowen’s voice for local business.
Bowen Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on 3 December 2015, continuing a legacy of representing Bowen’s business community that traces back to the 1920s. Founded by Chairman Bruce Hedditch, the Chamber today represents around 100 local businesses, advocating for infrastructure, connecting members, and promoting Bowen as a place to live, work, and invest.

Our approach
Our Mission
To promote and enhance the viability of Bowen’s small businesses, providing a strong, unified voice for the local business community.
Whether it’s advocacy on infrastructure, connecting members with opportunities, or promoting Bowen to visitors and investors, we work to make sure local business has a voice
Our Vision
A thriving, connected regional business community, where local enterprises have every opportunity to grow.
We’re working toward a future where every Bowen business — regardless of size or sector — has access to the support, connections, and advocacy it needs to succeed.
Bowen’s story stretches back long before its formal establishment in 1861 — this is Birri, Jangga, Juru, Gia and Ngaro Country. We pay respect to Traditional Owners past and present, and are proud to carry Bowen’s story forward.
